In this Self-portrait ‘A Proof to our existence’ , I delve into the physical, social and political complexities that inform our relationships to the body. I break down very narrow-minded conventions to challenge long- accepted mode of representation. New visual languages are explored by those whose inquisitive gaze has been, and still is, suppressed due to race, gender or sexuality.

In this hand written love letter to my body in my native language, I rally against culture that is highly judgemental of the way we look and trying to shut us down because we template freedom.
